Shadow Dancer are two brothers from Manchester, Al and Paul Farrier. They “like to make sounds with boxes” as they say, and they’ve been released on Turbo, Boysnoize, Bad Life and GND Records. In this case, the “box” is the legendary Roland TB-303 Bass Line, and the “sound” is an acid and powerful version of “Club Zanzibar”.
Donovans is Nicolas Nekmouche, a hotly tipped Parisian producer. He released tracks on Fool’s Gold, Turbo, Cheap Thrills, Southern Fried, Blood Music, Citizen Records etc. and he recently launched his own label, 11Heads. He’s a member of Rituel’s family—they often invite each other to play at their respective parties. He delivers a stunning bass music/jacking house remix of “Nirvana Dance”, one of those he has a knack for producing.
Koett is Alexander Tochilkin, a young upcoming producer from Krasnodar, in the sunny south of Russia. He was a member of bands Modul, Feldmaus and Wols, before creating Koett in 2012 and releasing records on Atomnation, Fuselab and DaBit. He treated Rituel with a deep/tech house rereading of “Club Zanzibar”.
